Paired with the HK22C+ Solid coverstock, the Vexed Variant creates earlier traction and a stronger overall reaction than the original Vexed. It is designed for bowlers who need more strength through oil while maintaining continuation through the pins.
HK22C+ Solid - This solid reactive coverstock combines Radical's HK22 cover technology with the C+ formulation to provide strong traction and increased overall hook. The 500 and 2000 Siaair Micro Pad finish helps the ball establish an earlier lane read and maintain a strong, continuous motion through the backend.
Vexed Variant Asymmetric Core - This updated asymmetric core increases total differential and flare potential compared with the original Vexed while maintaining the line's signature 3-to-1 differential ratio. At 15 pounds, it features an RG of 2.490, a differential of 0.045, and an intermediate differential of 0.015, supporting increased overall hook and strong, continuous motion.
The Vexed Variant is best suited to medium to heavy oil when the original Vexed or other less aggressive equipment does not provide enough traction or overall hook. Its solid coverstock and 2000-grit finish help it read the lane earlier, while the updated core supports additional flare and continuation through the pins.
Fits as a stronger asymmetric solid above the original Vexed. It provides an option for heavier oil when you need an earlier read and more total hook without giving up the predictable, continuous motion of the Vexed design.
